The Bridge of Faith (BOF) strives to change the generational cycle and status-quo that exists for girls who were victims of inadequate parenting and the results of the foster care experience. Each year we provide 5,196 safe nights for girls who have aged-out. We do not have an age or time limit.
Stars Training Academy, a division of Stars Behavioral Health Group, collaborates with community agencies across North America to provide enriched training and customized consultation to achieve high fidelity and sustainable implementation of evidence-supported and evidence-based practices. The Stars Training Academy serves as the purveyor of the Transition to Independence Process (TIP) Model.
YNHS is a Community Health Services, providing medical, dental, behavioral health services, housing and homeless services. Targeted services for youth includes “The Space”, our LGBTQ Youth Resource Center , and the BESTY House, a residential transitional housing program for women age 18-23 interested in work experiences and/or continuing education.
Sanctuary Palm Springs is a home for nonminor dependent LGBT youth in foster care. The home is a place of safety, support, and self-responsibility where each foster-youth resident can learn the life skills needed to become an independent, self-sufficient adult.
AAI provides out-client assistance to current or recently released foster care youth. The following are services provided: Liaison between youth and school/college, referral to job training programs, assistance in locating permanent housing, weekly individual life skills counseling, events focusing on life skills development, ongoing life skills development groups.
REAL provides semi-supervised independent living services for youth transitioning out of a more structured setting or foster care. Youth live in groups of apartments or homes with other housemates. Life skills, individual, group, and family therapy are provided, along with money for food and transportation.
Inspire offers former foster and homeless youth the opportunity to attend college or vocational school full time while living in low cost safe and stable housing. We also provide one on one mentoring, life skills classes and many other support services.
The program assists young adults with behavioral health needs in preparing to transition to adulthood. Program supports and services build on the strengths of the individuals and promote their success in becoming more independent. These services include case management, activities in life skills education groups and limited housing support.
Sunshine Acres provides for the emotional, social, physical, educational and spiritual support for the young adults; enabling them to learn to manage their own affairs while maximizing the development of their potential, abilities and interests and learning to function within a community in a style that is both meaningful and purposeful to himself and the community.
Maternity Program: Serves women and girls beginning at age 10 with no age limit. Sarah’s House Mother/Child Program: mother/Child program empowers new mothers by focusing on early childhood development, attachment issues, and prevention of neglect and abuse. Legacy Hall, An Independent Living Skills Program, serves non-pregnant teens who are currently enrolled in the DSS Foster Care Program.
