Sunrise has created an innovative and lifechanging Independent Living program for 18-to-21 year-olds who have aged out of the state’s care. As a participant, you will be given the tools you need to build your own future as an independent adult through one of our multiple programs located across Kentucky.
The Van Noy Valor Foundation strives to provide opportunities to encourage personal valor in youth by giving them resources and tools to grow, which will teach the youth to armor themselves for success. The Van Noy Valiant Knights program is the premier academic internship and scholarship program for students aging out of foster care.
Boys & Girls Haven Transitional Living programs serve young people from 18 to 21 years old who are preparing to age out of foster care. We offer structured, dorm-style housing in our Pre-Independent Living program and scattered site apartments in our full-fledged Independent Living program.
We are a foster and adoption resource center in Ashland Kentucky. We strive to bring awareness for children in foster care and we can also provide some first needs to foster families. We are also here to assist youth that are aging out of foster care with whatever resources we have available to us.
