The Transitional Living Program (TLP) was developed to assist young adults in transitioning into self-sufficiency and prevent long term dependency on the social service system. Housing is provided at a nominal rent, along with continuing staff support and guidance for young adults that have exited the child-protective or juvenile justice system.
Foster Success, formerly Indiana Connected by 25, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides support to foster care youth at their most critical time – when they are transitioning out of the foster care system. We help Indiana’s 22,000 transitional age foster youth make successful transitions to adulthood through education, financial support, and advocacy.
Fostered Bridges is a nonprofit organization that strives to empower individuals in pursuing their own life goals. First and foremost we aim to provide independence based living opportunities in our tiny home village. Through our services, spanning from teaching job interview skills to comprehensive referrals, we can begin to build bridges towards making our clients’ dreams inevitable.
Our Independent Living teams provide housing, life skills and wrap around support to teens who are aging of foster care to guide them towards self-sufficiency and independence.
Hope’s Path exists to serve young men who have aged out of foster care and homeless young men to build a sustainable life. MyPlace is rental living space for youth 16 through 21 who are aging out of foster care or can be placed in Independent Living. Our mission is to reduce the vulnerability for exploitation by offering safe transitional housing and holistic support services to youth and young adults in the Greater Jackson area with a preference to those in vulnerable circumstances.
The MBCH Children and Family Ministries Transitional Living Program (TLP) provides training programs to develop independent living skills necessary for these youth to live on their own.
