PCs for People provides affordable computers and low-cost internet eligible individuals and nonprofits. To receive technology and services from PCs for People, a potential recipient must be below the 200% poverty level or be currently enrolled in an income-based government assistance program, which includes foster care.
Make It Home helps families and individuals transitioning out of crisis or homelessness. Often, these folks do not have the items to make a house a home and that is where we come in, bringing them gently used household items to help ease the transition.
Hope’s Path exists to serve young men who have aged out of foster care and homeless young men to build a sustainable life. Built on a foundational belief in Christ, we have 3 pillars we concentrate on: Financial (budgeting, investing), Career (either secondary school or trades) and Personal (Life Skills, conflict resolution, etc…).

WEDO CCAV is a program dedicated to providing a network of support to Transitional Age Youth (young adults ages 16-25 years) and justice involved adults in order to ensure they have the tools they need to be successful and thrive independently.

We’re advocates, researchers, social workers, parents, and thought leaders who are dedicated to improving the child welfare system. What started as the Rhode Island Foster Parents Association (our former name), eventually pivoted into an organization that supports young adolescents and adults who are currently or formerly in the foster care system.
We provide stability by giving clients urgently needed essential household goods – like pots and bedspreads – in order to make their first apartment a home. We continue to be there for youth as hands-on mentors. We empower our clients to become stable and self-sufficient by making referrals to effective counseling, education, and job training programs.
Caples Terrace was conceived as a solution to the lack of decent housing for young people — aged 18 to 24 — who are aging out of foster care, and their families. The complex was built by and is managed by the Vancouver Housing Authority. The three-story complex offers studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, with rents based on the tenant’s income.
