Acres of Hope is a residential ministry to homeless single mothers, and their young children. We are a forever family to foster youth who have aged out of the system. We help by giving housing, counseling, food, and transportation for up to two years.
Foster Alumni Mentors provides mentoring, networking, workshops, advocacy, resources, and community awareness to improve outcomes for former foster youth, including those who have been adopted, reunified, or resided in kinship care. We strive to be change agents through sharing success stories and inspiring hope.
One Simple Wish uses technology to raise awareness about foster care and to spread love, hope and joy to kids by connecting them to people who care!
Our program is designed to equip and support local foster youth as they transition to independence. This program is focused on creating enduring supportive relationships with volunteers from the community that will commit to coaching and supporting foster youth during and following their transition out of foster care. Lakeshore LifeWorks is a faith based transitional housing program for the aging out foster care and struggling youth population (18-21) in Ottawa County. Mission: “Restoring Lives by Providing Safe Homes and Grace Filled Relationships”
Blake’s House is a Christian transitional living home for women between the ages of 18-25 who have aged out of foster care or that have become homeless for other reasons. We assist women in developing the community and skills needed to sustain independent living.
ILYA (Independent Living for Young Adults) supports young people who are aging out of foster care in New Castle County, Delaware. Supportive Grants, Furniture/Household Goods, New Apartment Kits, Baby Showers, Student Care Packages, Graduation Backpacks & Pizza Party, Holiday Giving & Advocacy/Resources are all projects providing tangible support to youth in New Castle County.
Youth In Mind (YIM) is a California-based nonprofit organization founded and steered by youth affected by the mental health system. Youth In Mind members participate in multiple levels of leadership and advocacy, including member leadership summits, mental health conferences, and local advocacy activities with the purpose of promoting positive change through authentic youth engagement.
