YouthCare builds confidence and self-sufficiency for homeless youth by providing a continuum of care that includes outreach, basic services, emergency shelter, housing, counseling, education, and employment training.
YouthBuild Philly is a second-chance program where out of school youth can earn their high school diploma, learn a trade, and prepare for college and careers. We offer counseling, case management, leadership and community service opportunities, and post-diploma supports.
iFoster is an online resource portal for anyone living outside of their biological home, their caregivers, and organizations that serve them.
The PA Chafee Education and Training Grant Program provides grants to PA undergraduate students who are aging out of foster care and are attending a post-secondary institution approved for Federal Title IV student financial assistance programs. No award may exceed the student’s cost of attendance minus other financial aid the student is receiving.
As a non-profit coffee shop, our mission is to fortify former foster youth with personal and professional skills, employment and the supportive community needed to lead a sustainable independent lifestyle. Through 3 core program components – employment, case management and programmatic exercises – we emphasize relationship building to create a foundation of support for the youth in our program.
MassNFCA creates community and opportunity for current and former foster youth through education, employment, service and leadership. In addition to our regional events for foster care alumni across Massachusetts, we also have an online community called ‘MassNFCA Connect’ that connects with our statewide database of resources for alumni of all ages.
The Concho Valley Transition Center is always there to help. We offer advice and emotional support in resolving problems, refer participants to appropriate community programs, help them apply for housing, college entrance and financial aid, and give them limited assistance with in-kind donations and cash.
Operation SafeHouse with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention, and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
To empower, support and advocate for Nebraska families by promoting safety, permanency and well-being of our children. We employee Resource Family Consultants across the state who can match families with services in their area. Additionally, we offer scholarships to foster youth and youth adopted out of foster care to continue their education beyond high school.
Life 360 is a year round life skills mentoring program for Arizona foster children who are at least 15 years old. Together, the mentors and foster children focus on basic skills like money management, household management, planning for college, budgeting, interviewing for jobs, job skills, nutrition and meal planning.
