Evansville, and its surrounding counties, sees approximately 27-45 youth a year transition out, or leave, Foster Care. Some are emancipated by the courts and others simply get tired of the constant moving and abuse and leave on their own. We dedicate our time, energy and resources to helping these youth through the most difficult time in their life.
Foster Success, formerly Indiana Connected by 25, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides support to foster care youth at their most critical time – when they are transitioning out of the foster care system. We help Indiana’s 22,000 transitional age foster youth make successful transitions to adulthood through education, financial support, and advocacy.
They leverage public and private partnerships to provide young adults with life skills and employment readiness training, housing, and access to resources. Their goal is to open a long-term, supportive housing program that will teach life skills, employment readiness, and provide access to resources to help young adults that have exited foster care to become and remain successfully interdependent!
