We work with Chidnet, a division of DCF to provide new household items for kids when they age out of foster care. When they age out of the system, a child can come to one of our Distribution Parties where they can choose all the items that they need to set up their new home.
Launched in 2013, the primary goal of Fostering Panther Pride (FPP) is to assist former foster care youth and homeless students in their transition to Florida International University (FIU), their retention and graduation, and their pursuit of securing employment or graduate studies upon receiving their bachelor’s degree.

Grow Into You Foundation exists to provide coaching and mentoring services to individuals experiencing a hardship, particularly youth and those within the foster care system. These services will educate, empower and give perspective to those that need it most.
Provides quality apartments, job coaching, paid internships, financial capability classes, life coaching, and emergency help for young adults (and their children) after state foster and/or relative care end. The program provides a stable community setting from which youth can work, attend school and learn essential life skills as they become independent, contributing members of the community.

We provide Independent Living Services for young adults (ages 18-23) aging out of foster care.
The Village, a Transitional Housing Program, provides young adults who have “aged out” of the foster care system, the opportunity to complete their education and enhance their independent living skills before moving and living on their own.
The FLITE Center is the only one-stop resource center in the state of Florida that connects youth aging out of the foster care system with a full range of services for a successful transition. The FLITE Center offers education, housing assistance, employment coaching, peer mentoring, and life skills training to approximately 1,000 young adults in over 10,000 visits a year.
Lead Child Welfare Agency in Hillsborough County. Oversees all contracted providers serving our Teen in Foster Care in Hillsborough County. Eckerd Workforce Development’s Youth Program helps prepare young adults, ages 16 to 24, for college or a career.
