Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) is an initiative to provide housing assistance and supportive services to at-risk young adults aging out of foster care. Under this initiative, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will provide additional funding to public housing authorities (PHAs) to prevent homelessness in young adults aged 18 to 25.
