We provide resources for youth, single moms who have experienced foster care or homelessness. We have a resource center in Mesa where anyone involved in DCS can come get free food boxes, clothing or other resources. We are in the process of building tiny homes in Phoenix where these youth can live after aging out of foster care.
Acres of Hope is a residential ministry to homeless single mothers, and their young children. We are a forever family to foster youth who have aged out of the system. We help by giving housing, counseling, food, and transportation for up to two years.
Foster Alumni Mentors provides mentoring, networking, workshops, advocacy, resources, and community awareness to improve outcomes for former foster youth, including those who have been adopted, reunified, or resided in kinship care. The 412 Youth Zone is a safe and welcoming one-stop center for youth ages 16-23, that are transitioning out of the foster care system and are eligible for independent living services or are experiencing unstable housing. The program, a vision of Allegheny County’s Department of Human Services, is designed for 1,500 eligible youth to gain stability and independence.
The Journey Into Adulthood program provides; tools, resources, life skills training, financial literacy, and caring adult mentors for foster youth living in group homes. Our long term goal is to connect every foster youth in America with a loving caring community and provide quality transitional housing, building a foundation of success.
