Blake’s House is a Christian transitional living home for women between the ages of 18-25 who have aged out of foster care or that have become homeless for other reasons. We assist women in developing the community and skills needed to sustain independent living.

Youth In Mind (YIM) is a California-based nonprofit organization founded and steered by youth affected by the mental health system. Youth In Mind members participate in multiple levels of leadership and advocacy, including member leadership summits, mental health conferences, and local advocacy activities with the purpose of promoting positive change through authentic youth engagement.
KTECH is the workforce training initiative of the Kids to Love Foundation. KTECH offers Siemens Certified Mechatronics training to students with barriers to overcome, including young adults aging out of foster care. This short-term training offers students a credential that is recognized internationally and allows them to jump-start their career into higher paying jobs.
The National Foster Care Registry changes the landscape of independent living programs offered to young people transitioning from foster care into adulthood. This initiative provides framework for reforming services and systems to effectively meet the needs of youth aging out of foster care.
C2i provides programming and advocacy for foster care youth, 15 – 24, promoting a successful transition to living independently. Services are designed to meet county goals, preparing youth as they age out of foster care. C2i focuses on five core competencies: Financial Literacy, Housing, Employment, Education & Personal Wellness. C2i services are individualized based on their ILP.
TRAC (Transition Resource Action Center) is the North Texas regional transition center providing services and support to young adults who have aged out of the state foster care system. TRAC services include life skills training, comprehensive case management, housing and rental assistance, and employment services. Eligible youth are 16-24 years old.
Think of Us is a web and mobile life-coaching platform that helps foster youth navigate their transition to adulthood. The platform is like Asana or Trello for foster youth, and it ensures that they are aware of all the steps they have to take to navigate the foster-care system and they are prepared to live independently after they turn 18…
We provide a one-to-one mentor to youth ages 14-24 to help them receive all the services they are entitled. These services include housing, food, clothing, education, job placement, transportation, healthcare and more. If you want a friend who believes that you are a valuable human being, we will be there for you.
Within the Office of Families and Children, the Transitional Youth Program team links Ohio’s youth and Independent Living casework staff to supportive community services, beneficial resources and innovative programming to assist with a seamless transition from foster care to emancipation.
