YouthWorks connects thousands of young people between the ages of 14 and 21 to summer jobs with private, nonprofit, and city and state government employers throughout Baltimore. Participants work in a variety of industries, and gain basic workforce readiness and career-specific skills.

The Walter S. Johnson Foundation assists transition-aged foster and other vulnerable youth in Northern California and Nevada to become successful adults. California College Pathways, currently in place at 31 colleges, universities, and technical schools in Orange County and the Bay Area, provides former foster youth with year-round housing, financial aid, counseling, and academic tutoring and support.
Within the three-month program ten participants will receive daily healing modalities and therapies to treat trauma, strengthen immune and neurological systems, as well as fortify self-esteem and the corporeal. By completion, the participants will have also earned a David Elliott Breathwork teaching certificate. This will enable them to continue the healing process in the community.
We provide life-skills training and support for young mothers who are in or have aged-out of the child welfare system. The Mary Elizabeth House offers the kind of nurturing environment young mothers need to become self-directed adults with skills in home management, employment, educational attainment and supportive parenting.
