AIM Independent Living Center has received $1 million in state funding to develop supportive housing in the City of Corning for homeless young adults and young adults aging out of foster care. The apartment complex will include five single-occupancy apartments, as well as a community room with a kitchen and a laundry room. It will provide housing for homeless young adults ages 18-25; as well as young adults who have left foster care within the past five years and were in foster care at or over the age of 16.
